“A brush – a pen – a blank surface”

The chamber exhibition “A brush – a pen – a blank surface”, commemorating the 140th anniversary of the birth of József Egry, is a selection of the artist’s lesser-known works in the collection of the Balaton Museum.

József Egry, the famous Hungarian painter, is one of the most outstanding artists of the 20th century, but his works, which are less known to the general public, are also extremely valuable and have a profound content. This unique exhibition will give visitors an insight into Egry’s lesser-known but all the more fascinating works.
