On 15 September, the Balaton Museum opens its exciting and delicious new temporary exhibition, “Pálinka memories – Pálinka boiling pots and other pálinka vessels”.
This special exhibition will give an insight into the traditional art of pálinka brewing and the world of pálinka pots that have become part of Hungarian culture. Visitors will learn about the centuries-old history of pálinka brewing and how the pots and pans used to make pálinka have changed over time. The exhibition will feature a number of valuable and beautifully crafted pálinka-making pots, bottles and other utensils, each reflecting an important aspect of the making and drinking of pálinka. The temporary exhibition invites visitors on a journey through time to gain a deeper understanding and appreciation of Hungarian spirits culture.
