If we plan a longer tour but don’t want to go far from the city, let’s choose the Fenyves-allé located at the border of Keszthely, which is a favorite place for dog owners and where we are sure not to disturb anyone. If we dare to venture a bit further and we like to hike, the mountains of Keszthely can be an excellent choice, from whose viewpoints we can admire the panorama while our dogs can get to know unfamiliar smells. If we plan a shorter distance, the Promenade, the Castle park or the Balaton-shore can be optimal. HintHave you ever been to the Helikon Park? In 2020, a long-awaited dog beach opened in Keszthely, which is also a pet-friendly community space located at the westernmost point of Lake Balaton, where owners and their four-legged friends can bathe together. The beach is also owner-friendly, which means that there is a civilized restroom, dressing room, and cafeteria available to them.
