The Tulipán Coffee House welcomes its guests with home-made, additive-free pastries, homemade ice cream and light snacks in the heart of Keszthely, 500 m from Lake Balaton.
But the café under the old plane tree did not only think of sweet-toothed people. It is worth stopping by for a delicious breakfast, of course with a really good coffee or freshly squeezed fruit juice. And at any time of the day we can find something delicious for ourselves.
The café’s menu includes a very tasty Spanish ham and cheese platter, but we can also order salmon salad, baked sandwiches or even grilled sandwiches.
For late afternoon entertainment we can choose from their fine wines and special sparkling wines or if we crave beer, we can even taste a real Balatoni Világos. To accompany the delicious drinks, we can always enjoy some bites, to which we can also order dipping sauces.
Events
The venue is suitable for organizing closed events in winter and summer alike, for which you can choose from their selection of drinks and food according to individual requests. For closed events, they can provide space for up to 50 people, in two rooms of 25 people each.
There is also the possibility of video projection and individual music listening in their rooms.
A Few Steps to Helikon Park
On the way to the Lake Balaton, we arrive to the Helikon Park, where a light pastry and coffee is a great way to start a walk.
Near Balaton
Whether coming or going to the lake, we can stop by the coffee shop open from morning to evening, from which the shortest route leads to the Energy Square along the lakeside promenade and to the pier. Here we can admire the most beautiful sailing boats, or board the Nostalgia Sightseeing Boat. Near the shore we can board the Keszthely Giant Wheel, and if we are with children, we can cool off in the exciting playground hidden in the shade of the trees. But in the middle of summer, of course, the City Beach located west of the pier can provide real refreshment for our heated body.
Parking
Guests can park in the courtyard of the coffee house, or in Csány László Street. A bit further away, at the end of the side of the Helikon Park, we can also find parking spaces, if closer is not possible.
Approach
It is easiest to approach from the side of Lake Balaton, via Erzsébet királyné Road.
