The Zenit Coffee House and Restaurant, located in Keszthely’s cultural center, is located in the renovated and patinated building of the former Amazon Hotel.
The atmosphere of the hospitality place creates a pleasant harmony between the elegance of the past times and the modern design.
You can take a seat in its winding, cozy interior spaces, or you can rest on its spacious terrace overlooking the street and the Festetics Castle during your city tour. It is also an ideal choice for those arriving by car to the city, as free parking is provided in its inner courtyard.
Traditional Hungarian Flavours
The backbone of the menu consists of popular and well-known dishes of Hungarian cuisine: the indispensable beef soup, goulash soup, beef paprikash, giant schnitzel and Balaton fish dishes, as well as light salads, Italian pastas, pizza and hamburgers. The classic dishes are complemented by dishes made with local ingredients, such as Várvölgyi cheeses and Mangalica smoked products from Káptalantóti.
The restaurant’s Chef, István Ács, forms the traditional recipes into modern versions with the help of modern kitchen technologies and always fresh ingredients, making them even more enjoyable.

Events
The Zenit Cafe and Restaurant is an excellent venue for family gatherings, anniversaries, class reunions, events, business meetings and conferences. The newly opened and renovated Amazon House Visitor Center, belonging to the Festetics Castle, located on the first floor of the building, is suitable for accommodating 100 people and has a climate-controlled wedding venue. Here, both outdoor and indoor weddings can be organized, which the restaurant can also take on upon request.
Parking
Guests of the restaurant can park for free in the internal courtyard of the Amazon House Visitor Center. The parking lot can be accessed from Georgikon Street.
Approach
The restaurant is located on the side of the Promenade, in the building of the Amazon House Visitor Center. So it’s a perfect choice if we have already visited the castle museums and get hungry.
