Little Singers

Music enthusiasts are invited to a unique musical experience on April 2, 2026, at the Balaton Theatre’s auditorium, featuring a performance by the Japanese Little Singers children’s choir. The young singers’ concert promises a meeting of Japanese and European choral cultures through a rich and diverse repertoire.

The Little Singers Japanese children’s choir was founded in 1990 in the city of Hyogo and now boasts a history of over three decades. The choir consists of approximately 90 members aged between 4 and 21, divided into three age groups: children, junior, and senior.

The high-level artistic work of the Little Singers has been recognized by several prestigious awards, including winning the gold prize at the National Japanese Youth Choral Festival three consecutive times. Due to their pure sound and sophisticated performance style, they are considered one of Japan’s preeminent children’s choirs.
