The Monarchia Guesthouse is located in the centre of Keszthely, just a block from the Main Square, the Promenade, museums, local attractions and the Festetics Castle. Its location is ideal for both sightseeing and relaxation, as the shores of Lake Balaton are only 20 minutes away on foot.
The guesthouse offers a range of comfortable rooms, including 1 or 2 bed rooms with balconies, which are cosily furnished, as well as upstairs rooms with double beds and extra beds. All rooms have en suite bathrooms and offer a range of amenities.

Ideal for families, there are two adjoining double rooms with balcony and private bathrooms. There is also a fully equipped apartment with double bedroom, private bathroom and living-dining room.

Rooms can be booked with or without board, with breakfast or half board. Guests can enjoy a continental breakfast and a set menu dinner in the family restaurant in the guest house, and in summer they can sit outside in the garden. The property is non-smoking.

The Keszthely Mountains are an excellent destination for active recreation. The mountainous landscape is ideal for cycling and hiking, with a variety of routes to discover the beauty of the countryside. The guesthouse is located next to the national blue trail, Hungary’s longest hiking route. In addition, there are several designated hiking trails and nature trails in the area, so children can also enjoy being close to nature. The cycle paths around Lake Balaton and the designated cycle routes in the area are ideal for cycling enthusiasts, for whom the accommodation provides safe storage and tools if needed.

The Monarchia Guesthouse offers closed parking for guests at an extra charge, reservation is required.
Directions
From the north coast, turn left at the traffic lights on Tapolcai Street onto Lovassy Sándor Street, then take Kazinczy Street to Helikon Park, then continue on Queen Elisabeth Street and then Bem József Street. On the left, driving up the second small street, you will soon see the balconies of the guesthouse, decorated with flowers.
Approaching Keszthely from Balatonszentgyörgy, take Festetics György Street, then Kossuth Lajos Street. From Kossuth Lajos Street, turn right past the Balaton Museum and continue along Mártírok Street and Kazinczy Street to Queen Elisabeth Street. The road continues with Bem József Street, from where the accommodation is located by turning up the small street on the left.
