30 years. The Tompos family previously operated catering units as tenants, until they opened their own restaurant with help of family and friends.

The use of local products and raw materials, such as artisan cheeses, is becoming increasingly common in gastronomy, especially taking into account sustainability. The kitchen of the Tompos Restaurant is also following this path, striving for continuous innovation and development. In addition to seasonal à la carte dishes, they also offer a daily menu for the visitors.

Visitors of the restaurant can choose from the terrace, air-conditioned rooms, or the lockable, glass-enclosed garden room according to the season.

Event Venue

The restaurant can be separated into three large reception areas, which allows for simultaneous hosting of multiple, smaller or larger events, such as conferences and weddings, with a total capacity of up to 180 people. The rooms are equipped with modern technical facilities to ensure the success of the events, providing a projector screen and LCD TV as needed for the groups.

From the beginning, a play corner was created with the smallest in mind, and an outdoor playground is also available for the children in the immediate vicinity of the restaurant.

The restaurant has its own large parking lot, so we can confidently choose Tompos Restaurant if we arrive by car.

Approach

The restaurant can be accessed from the Tapolcai Road from the north side.

Or if we come from the south, from Kossuth Street, through Mártírok Road, along the railway to Semmelweis Street, a large sign indicates in front of the building that we have arrived at our destination.
