Museums
Keszthely is known as the city of museums, thanks to its more than ten museums. You don\\\'t have to be a big museum fan to have a great time - the city offers so many different exhibitions that there is no rainy autumn weekend that can\\\'t be spent here meaningfully.

Hint#georgikon-majormuzeumThe play barn may be interesting for today's children, since peasant children used to lounge in the soft straw, play hide and seek. Now there is the possibility to experience this carefree game with the help of the climbing ropes, hanging bars and climbing walls placed in the barn.
Our favorite#festetics-kastely-hintomuzeumOur favorite is a 1914s, restored, currently functioning Ford T-model, whose sound was once heard all the way to Vonyarcvashegy when it was started.
An interesting fact#festetics-kastely-vadaszati-kiallitasThe collection of the Hunting Museum also includes Baron György Dózsa's trophy collection, despite the fact that the British Museum also bid for the pieces worth of treasure.
Our favorite#georgikon-majormuzeumOne of the most exciting exhibits of the museum is the original, still functioning Fowler steam engine, which is usually started up on special occasions and engine meetings.
An interesting fact#amazon-haz-latogatokozpontOn the wall of the Amazon House is a plaque indicates that in 1798 the Hungarian poet Mihály Vitéz Csokonai stayed here, and István Simon commemorated the occasion in his poem "Csokonai in the Inn" with these words:
"I imagine that Vitéz was also here,
I golden letters kake me remember.
The ceiling, the beam, even the lime,
And the pipe, as he saw it, still smokes."
