The IX Chestnut Festival will again focus on the magic of autumn chestnuts, and organisers are offering a true chestnut experience for all ages.
The popular Chestnut Festival will celebrate its ninth annual event in Keszthely on 12 and 13 October 2024. This autumn weekend will be full of fun activities and delicious chestnut delicacies. The festival’s colourful programme will appeal to all generations.
Chestnuts will be the focus of the event, and visitors will find lots of interesting information about this autumnal delicacy. They will learn how to care for chestnut trees, the processing of chestnuts and horse chestnuts, and even how to roast chestnuts and make chestnut mash. The youngest children will also be able to take part in a drawing competition and try their hand at pumpkin carving. They can also enjoy an exciting chestnut hunt on the ropes course.
