The accommodation is a few minutes’ walk from the Libás Beach and the marina. Guests can stay in private or hostel rooms, which have a bathroom and toilet. In the hot summer, the air-conditioned rooms also serve as a cool refuge. In the well-equipped common dining room, we can prepare any meal for ourselves.
Active Hostel
This accommodation is especially recommended for sports and movement lovers. The hosts are very happy to help you orientate among the sports opportunities in the city. They even organize hiking, kayak-canoe, and sailing tours in summer. But they are also happy to help if someone is interested in surfing or caving. The bike path runs almost in front of the house, and the area is full of marked bike routes. If anything happens to our bike, we can find tools to repair it in the guesthouse, but if we don’t have a bike, we can also rent one. Don’t let the cold stop us from travelling, because at the accommodation we can also rent skates, sleds and skis.
Healthy Lifestyle
Unfortunately, sport and exercise alone are not enough for a healthy life and this is something that the hosts of the Active Hostel and Guest House know. That is why they offer breakfast with only organic ingredients, seasonal vegetables and fruits. In addition, they provide many healthy and therapeutic products to interested guests. The house’s spacious, green garden can also balance the inner peace of the soul.
Other Services
Active Hostel and Guesthouse is a non-smoking accommodation, but pet-friendly! From the guesthouse it is a 15-20 minute walk to the Helikon park, which has a green environment excellent for running, and a dog run for their favorites. If you feel like relaxing in the evening with a friendly company, the guesthouse also offers wine and pálinka tasting for groups of more than 5 people.

Approach
The guest house can be approached from the northern shore of Lake Balaton via the Tapolcai Road, turning onto Semmelweiss Street. From here, turn right onto the fifth street, Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street, at the end of it we can find the accommodation.
If we are arriving from the M7 motorway to Keszthely, as we enter Kossuth Lajos Street, after the Balaton Museum turn right towards the railway station and follow the railway to the third railway crossing. Here turn left onto Semmelweiss Street, then the first street to the left will be Bajcsy-Zsilinszky Street, at the end of it is the guest house.
