Sights
The Georgikon Manor Museum, established in 2013, presents the Festetics period farming in an experience-oriented way. We can find a vineyard, an orchard, a spice garden, a petting zoo, a play barn, folk games, a lounge for adults, and a stove house. Children can get to know farming in a playful way. The farm is an ideal location for meaningful relaxation for all family members, as well as for birthdays, family and corporate events. The museum was awarded the Family-Friendly Museum title in 2021!
“We were on a program organized around threshing, the children really enjoyed the place, they organized a great program, it was interesting.”

The Experience Farm provides a home for colorful programs from spring to autumn: Regional Vaccination Days, Major Easter Picnics, Children’s Day Events, Museum Night, Machine Meeting, Cultural Heritage Day Programs, and the Martin Day Autumn Farewell. In addition to the events, a variety of museum pedagogical activities enrich the offer, in which children can learn about beekeeping, grain milling, bread baking, ways of keeping domestic animals on the farm, birds on the farm, and can also participate in pentathlon on the farm. Summer camps are open from mid-June to mid-August for vacationing children.
