About the Water Playground

At the water playground, children can get to know the physical properties and characteristics of water in a playful and experiential way, with the help of various mills and sluices that form part of the park. Parents can relax in the resting area with benches, and should be prepared for their child to return from the game in wet clothes. The use of the park is free.

“The Water Playground is an interesting program for both children and adults. There are wheels, sluices and dividers around two pools to move and control the water. On one side of the area there are big trees, so the park is partially shaded. There are also benches and tables, so you can rest. In the corner of the park there is a small sandbox with a slide for the smaller children.”

Approach, Parking

The entrance to the water park is from the Energy Square. Those arriving by car can leave their vehicles in the surrounding Balaton-side parking lots.

Experience-filled Lake Balaton shore

Near the Water Playground we can find many other exciting program opportunities. First of all, if we get hungry from playing, let’s go to one of the neighboring Pavilion row restaurants to satisfy our appetite! At the end of the Pavilion row we can find the entrance to the City Beach, from where we can walk to the beautiful Island Bath. If we don’t want to be wet again, we can walk further to the Pier, from where boats and other trips to other settlements depart, and we can also participate in a sailing program. In front of the Balaton Hotel we can see the beautiful Balaton panorama from the Giant Wheel. If we want to explore Keszthely and its surroundings, we can do it on two wheels as well, at the Energy Square next to the Water Playground we have the opportunity to rent a bicycle.
