KeszthelyFest

The most popular event of the year in the capital of Lake Balaton is Keszthelyfest, where this year, between 6-9 July 2023, you can party to the music of Róbert Szikora and R-GO, Csík and Gábor Presser, Első Emelet, Regan Lili, Hamvai PG, T-Danny, KKevin, Purebeat and many others. And if all that wasn’t enough, there are also many children’s programmes, an evening with Sándor Fábry, a cooking show, literary discussions, fashion show and gastronomy. In short: EVERYTHING that is entertaining.

The programme of the free KeszthelyFest 2023 event has been put together in such a way that the experiences shared by all will be etched in the memories of visitors forever and they will long to return to Keszthely every year, not only during the KeszthelyFest.

Main Square, Viviera Beach Stage

The Vivera Beach’s independent stage at the Main Square will host K. Kevin, Dr. Brs and Krisz Rudi, among others, but there will also be other surprise performers. In addition, Viviera Beach’s base on the shores of Lake Balaton will serve as a separate venue. On Saturday, for example, there will be a Bagossy Brothers Company concert and the Lights!Off festival. The big concerts will also open with a live concert by T. Danny, a great favourite of young people.

Big concerts on the Main Stage

Csík with Gábor Presser, Első emelet and R-go will be the other big concerts of 2023. The three performers will appeal to a broad spectrum of generations, wherever they perform in the country and beyond.

DJs across the board

Within the music genre, DJs have enjoyed unbroken popularity for decades. Erős és Spigiboy and Hamvai PG will entertain the visitors of KeszthelyFest with their own sets after the big concerts. In the daytime, the usual local DJs, such as Dorián, Sza-sza, Ipa, will provide the musical accompaniment at the LOCAL POINT venue.

Children’s programmes

Of course, the festival will offer children the same full programme as for families of all ages. For example, Réka Farkasházi és a Tintanyúl will be there, as well as the Iszkiri band. There will also be rock climbing, face painting and games. Local performers will also be part of the programme.

Cooking corner

In the spirit of health-consciousness, we will also set up a “free” cooking corner for families, where Andrea T. Herczeg and radio presenter Piros Vágó will prepare delicious meals for people with dietary restrictions, even together with the festival-goers.

Literature

Literature will also be a new addition to the programme of this year’s KeszthelyFest, which will take place at the Klassz Kultbistro on the Main Square. János Bán, writer, presenter, director of the M5 channel and Gábor Piroch, world-famous stuntman and writer, have accepted our invitation. You can meet them at a panel discussion. In the courtyard of the Pethő House, festival-goers will also have the opportunity to play a historical and film quiz.

Fashion

Another novelty is that the visitors of KeszthelyFest will also be guided into the world of fashion. Miklós Schiffer, an internationally renowned fashion and style consultant, will tell visitors where Hungary stands on the fashion palette. But you can also enjoy a fashion show by famous Hungarian designers.

Balaton wine, gluten- and dairy-free delicacies, local performers

As in previous years, the KeszthelyFest will also feature local bands, performers, winemakers and restaurateurs. Another new feature is that in addition to the familiar flavours, we are also thinking about people with food allergies, so the gastronomic offer will include gluten- and lactose-free delicacies for those with food sensitivities.
